x 18East - GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 - Canteen and Abbey Stone

The debut collaboration item of New York-based clothing brand, 18East and ASICS. Inspired by the dichotomy of fast and slow, 18East substituted many of the NIMBUS 10.1’s performance-focused synthetic elements with unfinished, natural textiles like raw edged cotton canvas, hemp blended mesh and jacquard cotton. These organic materials lend a subtly slow, handmade feeling to ASICS’ swift running silhouette, as speed comes in many forms.
