A high-neck knit inspired by mountain ridges seen through a rain-speckled window. Mame Kurogouchi builds the layered hills in a raised jacquard knit, which gives the fabric depth, then adds a very fine mohair on the surface to soften everything, like mist settling over the view. Small eyelets scattered through the knit stand in for the raindrops. The fit is close but not tight, and curved panels at the sleeves and hem open into sheer sections, letting a little skin show through the gradient. In navy, it’s a quiet, refined piece that looks especially good with a slip or camisole underneath.
