A small pouch bag from one of Mame Kurogouchi’s signature series. The brand makes its own linen cord and embroiders it onto the body in one continuous line, building up a woven pattern inspired by traditional Japanese baskets and plant forms. The result looks hand-woven but keeps the light, structured feel of embroidery. A long leather string strap lets you wear it on the shoulder or crossbody, and it adds a refined finish to an otherwise soft, natural-toned piece. In beige, it works with linen, knitwear and denim, and it’s a quiet way to carry one of the label’s most recognizable techniques.
Mame Kurogouchi was founded in 2010 by designer Maiko Kurogouchi. “Mame” was her childhood nickname.
