FDMTL’s haori in its boro jacquard, an indigo fabric woven to look like boro, the Japanese tradition of patched and mended cloth, along with the running lines of sashiko stitching. Changes in the weave create the layered, pieced-together look without any actual patchwork. It’s cut like a traditional haori, open at the front, with two flap pockets that close with snaps. The rinse finish keeps the indigo deep, and it will fade as you wear it. Throw it on open over a tee, shirt or knit as a light jacket.
