YAECA’s wide chino uses a peg-top shape: full through the hip and thigh, then tapering sharply below the knee to a narrow hem. The rise is deep, so it sits comfortably and keeps a clean line at the waist whether your shirt is tucked in or out. The cloth is YAECA’s own cotton chino, woven slowly on vintage shuttle looms that keep tension on the warp low, which makes it softer than ordinary chino with a visible weave texture. The roomy top and narrow hem make it easy to wear, and it looks best with a little break over the shoe. In navy it works for everyday wear with a knit, an oxford or a tee.
