Crafted in Japan by WORKS INC. under the direction of designer Shinichi Haraki, the Iron Heart 634 is a timeless straight-leg jean inspired by the iconic 1966 Levi’s 501. Featuring a medium rise and a straight silhouette with a subtle taper from the knee, the 634 offers a classic fit with a slightly wider leg opening to accommodate boots and a variety of footwear.
Constructed from 16oz Japanese slubby selvedge denim, the fabric is loosely woven to create a heavily textured yet breathable feel. After construction, the jeans are overdyed black, giving them a deep, rich finish while allowing the indigo-dyed warp to reveal unique blue undertones and grainy fading with regular wear and washing.
Built with Iron Heart’s signature attention to detail, the jeans feature a traditional button fly, hidden rear pocket rivets, reinforced belt loops, heavy-duty chain-stitched construction, and a vegetable-tanned leather patch. The fabric is sanforized, one-washed, and overdyed to minimize shrinkage while maintaining its distinctive character.
